Applause by Ovation AE227 Black Acoustic Electric Guitar OP10 Preamp

Up for sale is an Applause by Ovation acoustic-electric guitar in a black finish, serial number 4722327, model AE227.

This guitar features the classic Ovation-style rounded back design with a cutaway body and built-in electronics. It is equipped with an OP10 preamp with volume, bass, mid, and treble controls, along with EQ in/out and pre-shape functions.

The guitar is in fair to good used condition and shows visible cosmetic wear from age and normal use. There are surface scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and general signs of handling throughout the body. The top shows noticeable playwear and surface marks, especially visible under direct lighting.

There is also a small decorative stone or gem attached to the top of the guitar, which appears to have been added by a previous owner. This does not appear to be original to the instrument and looks to be a personal cosmetic addition. Please review the photos carefully for close-up details.

The back and sides also show light to moderate cosmetic wear consistent with use. Hardware and tuners show normal age-related wear as well.

Please note: the glossy black finish reflects light very easily during photography, so some marks, bright spots, or reflections seen in the photos may appear more pronounced because of lighting and glare, and may not be as noticeable in person.

This is a nice affordable Applause by Ovation acoustic-electric guitar with the well-known rounded-back design and onboard preamp, great for practice, casual playing, or amplified use.
