The Yamaha TRBX174EW Bass is capable of an endless variety of tones and will hold down the bottom end in any musical setting.  The TRBX174EW will deliver the tone you need at a very affordable price. The body is constructed from solid mahogany and features a stunning flame mango cap which will enhance tonal response. The matching head also gives distinct look from other basses. The electronics configuration features a dual pickup layout that houses a Yamaha “P” style split pickup in the neck position which supplies that massive bottom end. The bridge position has a Yamaha “J” style pickup which will give you an extra treble boost for a sharper, higher-end growling tone.  The controls feature a master volume for each pickup, as well as a balance control to help you blend the pickups and find the tone that suits your style the best.

The bolt-on neck is constructed from maple and carved to an extra-thin profile for maximum ease and playability. A 24 fret rosewood fingerboard gives you extended range if you’re doing a solo spot. The chrome hardware includes set of Yamaha Tuners and a vintage-style bridge with 4 individual saddles for improved sustain. Case not included.
