1966 Guild CE-100D Capri
Hey, here’s your chance to grab a killer 1966 Guild Capri CE-100D.
The guitar plays and intonates really well all the way up the neck. The dents and scratches are minor, and honestly, she’s a real head-turner. Some slight shrinkage of the celluloid around a few fretboard inlays, which is typical of Guild guitars from this era. This is purely cosmetic, of course. Please see the pictures - and if you want any more angles or close-ups, just let me know.
The tuners have been upgraded to Gotoh Relic (originals included). The pickups are P90s from the French boutique Cecca Pickups - Alnico IV, 8.5k neck and 9.1k bridge. They sound absolutely sweet.
It’s also been professionally refretted, so the frets are fresh and in excellent shape.
Overall, this golden-era Guild is a really versatile guitar that holds its own against any Gibson ES-175 and sounds great in just about any genre.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out - I’m happy to answer anything you wanna know.
Thanks and have a great day!
