Up for sale is a rare find from the early 1980s: A DiMarzio FB-1202 Deluxe Bass Bridge. Manufactured in the USA by APM (Kahler), these heavy brass bridges were the go-to upgrade for professional bassists seeking maximum sustain and clarity.

  • Condition: New Old Stock (NOS). Never installed or used.
  • Appearance: The chrome finish has developed a beautiful vintage patina/tarnish over 40 years of storage.
  • Technical Notes: Three of the original height adjustment screws show some surface rust. Mounting screws for the body are not included.
  • Specs: Classic 5-screw mount. Outer hole spacing is 70 mm (Standard Fender-style footprint).
  • Performance: Ultra-high mass construction for improved sustain.
  • Packaging Note: The original plexiglass box is included but in poor vintage condition. It is heavily scratched, and the plastic hinges have snapped off (lid is loose). However, the bridge itself remains in brand-new, uninstalled condition.
