A lovely candy apple red neck from a early to mid 80s Japanese Fresher Refined Series bass. The Refined series was Freshers attempt at moving away from the Lawsuit era Fender clones they were known for, and often featured a stunning all red and gold finish.
The specs include a rosewood fretboard, maple core, a C-shape radius on the slimmer side, 42mm nut, 20 Medium Jumbo Frets, truss rod access at the heel of the neck, and a weight of 1.9Ib. Additionally it has screw holes for both standard open gear, or closed/Gotoh style tuners.
The condition of it is quite good visually, it has some bumps and chips, typical for its age, with the main flaw being the additional screw holes from when it was attached to a different bass body and which luckily do not interfere with the original.
It's currently straight, the frets are in good condition, and the truss rod still has plenty of room in it for both directions, all in all, giving it plenty of life left in it as a replacement or project bass.
