Tony Iommi’s iconic riffs, powerful tone, and innovative tunings set him apart from his peers and played a defining role in shaping the genre of heavy metal. At the heart of his sound was his heavily modified 1964 Gibson SG.

Inspired by this original, Epiphone introduced the Tony Iommi SG Special. This artist model features a two-piece mahogany body, a one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded profile, and an Indian Laurel fingerboard with 22 frets. Additional specifications include a Graph Tech® nut, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with modern buttons, and chrome-covered Epiphone PRO P-90 pickups, wired with CTS® potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors.

The guitar is in excellent used condition, showing only minimal signs of play, and comes complete with its original Epiphone case.
