The Synergy Marshall JMP Preamp Module captures the sound and feel of one of the most influential amplifiers in rock history. As with all Synergy modules, a compatible Synergy amplifier or preamp dock is required for operation.Powered by two 12AX7 preamp tubes, the JMP features two identical channels, each equipped with Volume 1, Volume 2, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Master controls. Just like the original amplifier, Volume 1 and Volume 2 function as the Bright and Normal inputs, allowing you to blend them together for a wide range of gain structures and tonal textures. Independent 60's/70's switches on each channel provide access to two distinct eras of JMP voicing, ranging from the smoother, fuller response of earlier circuits to the tighter, more aggressive character of later models.
