Up for grabs is a stunning 2003 Larrivée L-03K, and this one is about as clean as they come for a 20+ year old guitar. If you know Larrivée, you already know—this is boutique-level craftsmanship, built in the golden era of their North American production, and the L body is one of the most versatile acoustic platforms ever made.

This particular example is in almost pristine condition. It’s been exceptionally well cared for, showing only the faintest signs of handling. No abuse, no surprises—just a beautifully preserved instrument that looks as good as it sounds.

Tonewoods & Build

The “K” in L-03K means koa, and this guitar delivers exactly what you’d expect—clear, focused fundamentals with a sweet top-end shimmer and a warm, woody midrange that only gets better with age. Larrivée’s symmetrical bracing gives it incredible balance across all strings, making it equally at home for fingerstyle, strumming, or studio work.

Electronics

It’s been tastefully upgraded with an LR Baggs pickup system featuring a discreet single volume control in the soundhole. Based on the setup, this is most likely from the LR Baggs Element family (or similar undersaddle system), known for its natural, dynamic response and minimal footprint. No bulky preamp cutouts—just clean, professional amplification when you need it.
