The mahogany top works with okoume back and sides to create a woody, organic tone that's perfect for folk, acoustic, roots, and jazz contexts, while the walnut fingerboard adds brightness and attack definition. The onboard preamp with EQ makes this gig-ready right out of the box - plug straight into a PA, amp, or audio interface without any additional gear. At ten percent larger body volume than the standard M-Bass, this 25-inch scale version delivers noticeably fuller bass frequencies while remaining compact enough for travel and comfortable enough for extended playing sessions. The left-handed construction is purpose-built from the ground up with proper bracing, nut, and setup designed specifically for lefty players.
