This is the fretless model, built left-handed. The AC-1FL has no frets — the fingerboard is smooth end to end, so every note is placed by ear and by position rather than against a fret. It is the traditional old-time voice, full of slides and between-the-notes inflection, and it asks a little more of the fretting hand in return. If you want the same banjo with frets, that is a different model.
