This Guitar was produced to a limited edition of 300 guitars with this being #20. I am the original owner and it is in my collection that have hardly any play time on them. Outside of the strings being changed and Schaller strap locks installed...... the originals will be included, this guitar is as new. All relicing has been done by Tom Murphy and every flaw is intentional. If you look at other Mick Ralph models, this #20 has a bit more flame in the carved top which looks just right. Not too little, nor too much. Just right!!!
This Guitar plays and sounds AMAZING and needs to be played. I have saved this one to sell towards the end of my collection because this is my favorite Les Paul ever. I have never had or played a Burst that came this close to perfection. Im really hoping she finds the right owner.
Please read my Feedbacks. I sincerely try to describe each instrument as best as I can. I am donating a portion of all my sales to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's foundation. I no longer can play and want my babies to end up in the hands of someone who really loves these as much as I do.
Gibsons Info
"Mick Ralphs' massive tones and searing lead work are as indelible to rock 'n roll as the sunburst 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard he is known for playing. Now, thanks to the painstaking efforts of the Gibson Custom Shop, that very guitar has been replicated in precise detail as part of the small limited release. The original (serial #8 7049) was studied in London, where its top carve profile, neck contours and pickup output were measured. It took months to craft the prototype which eventually earned the final approval of both its current owner and Mick Ralphs himself. The resulting run of guitars captures the one-of-a-kind tone, look and feel of the original through the use of hand selected woods, digitally scanned contours, mapped aging patterns, historic hide-glue construction and vintage-spec materials.
The Mick Ralphs 1958 Les Paul Standard Replica is not only a playable tribute to a legendary guitarist but an instrument on par with the hallowed Les Pauls of the late 1950s in every way."
This guitar is in overall mint condition with minimal to no signs of actual play or age
