The 1981 Selmer Super Action 80 (often called Series I) is a professional-level saxophone produced by Selmer Paris, with full production starting in April 1981, following prototyping in 1979-1980. These horns, often considered a bridge between the Mark VI and later models, are noted for their excellent intonation and, according to 1, were the first to be fully engraved and set up in France for the US market
