The Fender® Vintera® III Series delivers meticulously crafted vintage recreations that capture the authentic look, feel, and tone of Fenderâs most iconic instruments from the â50s, â60s, and â70s.

The Vintera® III Early â60s Jazz Bass® channels the timeless feel and sound that helped define electric bass. Its alder body, paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, delivers classic Fender tone with punchy lows, articulate mids, and clear, defined highs.

An authentic early â60s âCâ-shaped neck profile offers a comfortably familiar playing experience, while the 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard with vintage-tall frets provides smooth playability and a truly period-correct feel. Two vintage-style early â60s single-coil Jazz Bass pickups produce the warm, woody character and articulate growl that made the Jazz Bass a studio and stage favourite.

A vintage-style four-saddle bridge ensures solid intonation and sustain, while vintage-style tuning machines maintain classic looks with dependable tuning stability.

Embrace the authentic vintage spirit and legendary sound of Vintera® III , where every detail tells the story.

ALDER BODY

A classic Fender tonewood known for resonance, punch and clarity, alder has a balanced and lively tone with beefy mids and a robust low-end.

MAPLE NECK WITH 7.25" RADIUS SLAB ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD AND VINTAGE TALL FRETS

Slab rosewood fingerboard adds warmth to the tone and the 7.25â radius fingerboard provides vintage comfort and feel, while vintage-tall frets provide slightly more height than vintage for big bends and wide vibrato.

EARLY â60S âCâ SHAPED NECK

Based on an early-'60s "Câ profile, this comfortably rounded "C" is slim at the nut and gradually thickens toward the 12th fret for an intuitive and inviting feel.

VINTAGE-STYLE EARLY â60S PICKUPS

Voiced to replicate the rich and dynamic tones that put the Jazz Bass® on the map, these early â60s spec single-coil pickups are full of the woody warmth and bell-like, crystalline tone that made Fender instruments famous.

VINTAGE-STYLE REVERSED OPEN-GEAR TUNING MACHINES

These tuning machines offer the look and feel of vintage machines with a finer gear ratio and enhanced tuning stability.

4-SADDLE VINTAGE-STYLE BRIDGE WITH THREADED STEEL SADDLES

A vintage-style four-saddle bridge with threaded steel saddles provides solid tuning stability and precise intonation with instantly recognisable vintage tone and feel.
