A 2007 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster that was given some David Gilmour cosmetics. This is not an official production model, as it was made one year before the official reissue was released. I would rate the guitar as very good condition. It presents very nicely overall, with only a few dings here and there. It also has some finish checking reminiscent of a Closet Classic-style finish, though it is not reliced from the factory. It has some other scratches and dings.
It features the boat V neck typical of a ’56 Strat. It is not huge, but it is still nicely chunky, with a subtle and comfortable V shape.
This guitar came with a set of Custom Shop Fat ’50s pickups, which sound excellent. It has a five-way switch and three standard 250K pots. Currently set up with 9s. Action is good but not too low as this can make 9s sound buzzy.
It comes with the original case, COA, and case candy.
