DOD Badder Monkey

The DOD Badder Monkey is a massive leap forward for one of the most legendary overdrive circuits in the guitar world. While the original was beloved for its smooth, tube-like mid-range, the "Badder" iteration introduces three independent overdrive circuits—Behaved, Bad, and Badder—allowing you to move from subtle, low-gain grit to aggressive, modern saturation. This pedal isn't just a reissue; it’s a reimagining that offers a level of tonal versatility rarely seen in a compact overdrive, perfect for players at Palen Music Center who need a single pedal that can adapt to any genre.

At the heart of the pedal is the patent-pending Barrel Control, which allows you to blend these three distinct circuits in parallel. You can dial in a custom mixture of the lower-gain "Behaved" side with the classic "Bad" circuit, or go full throttle with the high-gain "Badder" mode. The construction is equally innovative, featuring the Reversible StagePlate™ that lets you swap between a rubber skid pad and a hook-and-loop surface for easy pedalboard mounting. With its rugged aluminum chassis and expanded "Mood" EQ controls, the Badder Monkey provides the ultimate platform for surgical tone shaping and road-ready reliability.
