Pro-co RAT2 LM308 Motorola Small Box [RT-214530] (04/13)

Featuring the LM308 op-amp that defined the classic sound of yesteryear, this is one of the most highly regarded models in the RAT2 lineup.

Among the Pro Co RAT2 Distortion Pedals, known as a classic in the genre, this unit features a Motorola LM308 op-amp. It is characterized by a distortion that combines grit and body, setting it apart from current models.

It maintains its core even when heavily distorted, delivering a sound with presence whether playing chords or single notes. The wide range of tone-shaping options via the filter control remains intact, allowing for flexible use from a boost-like effect to a solid distortion.

Another appealing feature is its ease of use, thanks to its compact "Small Box" design. In recent years, units equipped with the LM308 have become increasingly rare, making this model highly sought after for both its sound quality and collectible value.
There are some signs of use, such as minor scratches and dirt, but it functions perfectly.
Note: This is the unit only.
