Killer 1958 ES-225T - this example is in stunning condition for it's age. The original finish is gleaming with only the faintest signs of use. The original frets are as clean as the guitar making for a wonderful and inviting vintage playing experience.
The 1950's were a great era for Gibson guitar production - a now legendary era - the Les Paul Standard "Burst", Goldtop and Custom models from these years are highly sought after and are some of the most desirable vintage guitars ever produced. Certain years seem to have "better" woods - maybe a choice section of the Michigan forest was logged for Gibson around this time!
This example is a great option for the player or collector. Long unavailable vintage tone woods including Brazilian Rosewood, Honduran Mahogany and Flamed Michigan maple contribute to the fantastic tone of this ES-225. Player priced at what you'd expect to pay for a custom shop reissue, this guitar will blow any modern archtop out of the water in looks, feel and especially warm woody vintage tone.
