I am offering a Haar Guitars Traditional S Nitro Blonde Aged from 2013, a handcrafted custom Stratocaster model from the Dutch high-end guitar workshop of Eric van de Haar, featuring an extremely resonant one-piece swamp ash body (!), bolt-on quartersawn maple neck with medium “C” neck profile and 42mm bone nut, fine maple fingerboard with 8-10” compound fingerboard radius and 21 medium frets, three wiry Amber 61 Special singlecoil pickups, as well as a high-quality Raw Vintage tremolo bridge and Gotoh Kluson-style vintage tuners in a light aged nitro blonde finish with nickel hardware and old vintage Fender-style headstock (!) in excellent condition including black SCC luxury hardshell case, certificate and professional setup with 10-gauge Ernie Ball strings.

Under the Haar Guitars label, Eric van de Haar has been handcrafting custom guitars since 1987; today, these are among the most sought-after European instruments and are played by musicians all over the world. And this Haar Custom Strat is no exception: it comes in a stunning high-gloss Nitro Blonde finish with a maple neck in the quintessential classic Stratocaster design, exuding that unmistakable ’50s vintage vibe at first glance. Beneath the thin body finish, which bears subtle signs of aging, the bold grain of the one-piece swamp ash body stands out beautifully, and together with the quartersawn maple neck and maple fingerboard, it gives the impression that it was truly built in the 1950s.

Thanks to the selected swamp ash body, the instrument resonates acoustically with incredible clarity from the very first note, and once you plug it in, it takes a moment to recover from the sheer onslaught of wiry Strat sounds. This is primarily thanks to the factory-installed Amber 61 Special singlecoil pickup set, which elicits not only a pleasant, clear, and dynamic clean tone but also powerful, yet wiry and bell-like sounds when distorted.

With its medium “C” neck shape, the guitar feels very comfortable in the hand and plays smoothly, thanks in part to the 8–10” compound fretboard radius.

This Haar Strat is in excellent condition and technically flawless. Aside from the factory aging, there is practically no visible wear (see photos). The frets are in top condition.
