Up for sale is a used Alvarez by Kazuo Yairi DY-1 acoustic electric guitar. The previous owner had removed the original pickup and replaced it with a magnetic pickup. Alvarez was nice enough to send us a new old stock pickup and it sounds great! I personally prefer the old school Alvarez and Takamine pickup systems for playing live. It has been set up with new strings and it sounds excellent acoustically as well. This one definitely has been played and has quite a few scratches, dings and some repaired cracks, but it is structurally sound and a player. It was made in Japan, in 1990, serial number 43532. It comes in a newer Alvarez gig bag. Check out all the pictures for the condition.
