This left-handed Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst is a great example of Fender’s early ‘60s Strat design, blending classic looks with a slightly different feel and response compared to the ‘50s models. Built with an alder body and a maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard, it has a warm, balanced tone with plenty of clarity.
Fitted with a set of Pure Vintage ’61 single-coil pickups, it delivers that unmistakable Strat sound - clear, articulate highs, smooth mids, and a slightly rounder overall character. It’s a really versatile setup that works just as well clean as it does when pushed a bit harder. The early ‘60s C-shaped neck feels slim and comfortable in the hand, making it an easy guitar to get along with.
Finished in 3-Colour Sunburst, it keeps things classic and timeless. A really well-balanced Strat with a slightly softer edge than its 50s counterpart, this is a great guitar.
