1997 Fender Roadhouse Strat in Shoreline Gold. Made in USA. Original hard shell case and tremolo arm included.

Has upgraded DiMarzio DP188 bridge pickup (rail-style). All pickup positions work. Neck and middle pickups appear to be original, with staggered pole pieces.

Selling only because over time and multiple attempts, I’m just not a Strat person. I’ve listed in “good“ condition and at a lower comparable price due to the below reasons:

- 17th fret lifting a bit, both sides of neck.

- Sharp fret ends up and down the neck. I’ve had this since late winter and have humidified it appropriately, and with the natural seasonal humidity it’s gotten a lot better, but still noticeable sharpness.

- Truss rod maxed when turning clockwise, at least from my adjustments and not wanting to stress turning it any further. It does turn counterclockwise, and I used some graphite spray at the truss nut to help smooth it, as initially it was difficult to turn. There is currently some relief in the neck, and the Micro Tilt function at neck plate works well both ways, and helps even out the neck. I currently have it set at good playability with 9’s on it, your setup will determine how it suits you. (This guitar takes a 1/8” hex key for both truss rod and Micro Tilt adjustments.)

- Frets in good shape, some indentations, particularly at the first few frets.

- Some ground hum when amplified, cured when touching strings. The body cavities were lined with conductive copper tape, yet some hum remains. The bridge pickup swap was performed by a prior owner, I have not changed the electronics in my ownership and I do not have the original bridge pickup.

- Dings, chips, and scratches throughout both neck and body. Photos capture the main ones.

Note: In trying to be as meticulous as possible in the description, this has not been set up or intonated recently. Fresh strings, any further adjustment to neck angle, bridge saddle height, intonation, etc. is up to buyer and their preferences. Guitar will be detuned prior to packing.

Trem arm included, as shown. This will be removed from guitar and packed in the interior case pocket.
