Martin Custom D-45 Style - Adirondack Spruce/Wild Grain East Indian Rosewood (RHMC Spec)

Some guitars feel special the moment you lay eyes on them, and this one was part of the group we hand selected during our trip to the Martin Factory in Pennsylvania. Before it ever made a sound, it already had a striking presence. The Adirondack spruce top had a bold, clean look with a sense of strength in the grain, and the wild grain East Indian rosewood back and sides showed dramatic color and movement that stood out even among the racks. The antique white binding, Style 45 rosette, and perimeter pearl give it a refined, elegant look, and the full gloss finish brings everything together with a polished, almost luminous feel.

Once you start playing, the character begins to unfold. The GE Modified Low Oval neck feels smooth and familiar, and the guitar responds with the kind of power and clarity Adirondack grows into over time. The Style 45 hexagon inlays add a final touch of artistry that matches the rest of the build. This is an instrument chosen with intention from the very beginning, built from woods and details we selected ourselves at the factory, and ready to develop into something even more expressive as it opens up.
