DBX 903 modules are essentially DBX 160X compressors in a classic DBX 900 format complete with discrete output transistor drivers.

With the modifications, these sound crazy good and compete with some of the best compressors ever made. Classic 160X pumped up for performance.

This rack and modules has our Revive Audio DBX 903 modification which includes a power supply modification, VCA upgrade, Service of all pots and switches, as well as Burr Brown input and output stage modification and some other trade secrets.

The service overall increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the detail across the entire frequency spectrum. 

The Rack also has power supply modifications for lower noise, Higher current delivery and voltage adjustments for more headroom.

When all said an done we get a much more professional sounding compressor that's suitable for any task.

These are the industry standard and offer some of the best compression available for drums, vocals, guitars and all other sound sources and are basically a 160x in a module form but with a discrete VCA. Very cool indeed.
