Hi, offering up for sale a vintage 1980s Fender Contemporary Strat body. Made in Japan. Original blue sparkle finish thats similar to Lake Placid Blue but a little different. Typical nicks, dings, and scratches for its age, but no modifications. The white back plate that is pictured is included. The neck pocket is for a 2-3/16” neck.
Also, be aware that these take a Fender System 1 bridge (its a Schaller type, single locking vibrato that is on the lines of a Floyd or Kahler, but not as extreme)… just so you know, in case you are planning to build a partscaster out of it. The modern Fender 2-point bridge would not work on this body without modification.
