The Collings I-35 LC Deluxe in Mermaid Blue is a masterfully crafted semi-hollow electric that delivers vintage-inspired tone with modern precision and unmistakable visual elegance. Built with Collings’ renowned attention to detail, this instrument offers a refined playing experience for discerning musicians.

Its semi-hollow construction features a Honduran mahogany body paired with a maple center block, striking the perfect balance between warmth, sustain, and feedback resistance. The premium flamed maple top, finished in a stunning high-gloss nitrocellulose Mermaid Blue, adds depth and dimension, while grained ivoroid binding across the body, fingerboard, and peghead lends a sophisticated, vintage-inspired aesthetic. Unbound F-holes maintain a clean, understated look that complements the guitar’s overall design.

The Honduran mahogany neck is carved into a comfortable C profile, measuring .865" at the 1st fret and .967" at the 9th, offering a substantial yet inviting feel. With a 24 7/8" scale length, 12" radius, and medium nickel-silver frets, the Madagascar rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth, responsive playing surface, accented by custom parallelogram inlays. The extra-long mortise and tenon neck joint enhances resonance and structural integrity, contributing to the guitar’s lively acoustic character.

Equipped with Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers, the I-35 LC Deluxe produces articulate, open tones with exceptional clarity and dynamic range. The 50s-style wiring harness, featuring DiMarzio 500K pots and Jupiter Vintage Yellow capacitors, ensures smooth, musical control over volume and tone, making it easy to dial in everything from warm, woody cleans to rich, expressive overdrive.

Premium hardware includes a Kluson ABR-1 bridge with retaining wire and matching stop tailpiece for classic feel and reliable performance, while Gotoh tuners with the Collings logo provide stable, accurate tuning. Thoughtful appointments such as custom grained ivoroid top hat knobs, pickup rings, and truss rod cover further elevate the instrument’s boutique appeal.

Measuring 17 5/8" in body length with a 15" lower bout and a slim 1 5/8" depth, the I-35 LC Deluxe is comfortable and well-balanced, weighing just 7 lb 1 oz. It comes strung with D’Addario NYXL .011–.049 strings and includes a deluxe hardshell case for premium protection.

Elegant, responsive, and impeccably built, the Collings I-35 LC Deluxe in Mermaid Blue is a true standout—perfect for players seeking a sophisticated semi-hollow with exceptional tone and timeless style.
