MCI JH24 1982

1982 MCI JH-24 2". 24 tracks of analog goodness. This machine has been well cared for, used in my smoke free studio for the last eight years to transfer tapes to digital. Comes with Autolocator III, on a nice stand. Tape machine and ALIII have had a lot of maintenance and refurb. JH24 has the full set of Mara replacement cards, and the ALIII has the Mara RTZ board. The Mara cards greatly improved the stability and reliability of the machine. Also has a nearly new Athan pinch roller and a Thin Brown Line roller dancer arm, which is much easier on the tape than the stock dancer arm. Comes with any original parts which were replaced, as well as several channels worth of spare cards. Also available is a 24-channel Dolby NR unit and cabling to connect it to the JH24. I will include it in a full price sale. Selling this only because I bought an APR24, and I don't need two 2" machines. This must be picked up in Morrow, OH 45152. Payment must clear before pickup. Please no weird cashier check or payment app scams. Selling as is/described because of age. Machine is working great, but this is a 44 year old tape machine. It will need alignment and regular maintenance. Might consider trades for really nice guitars, amplifiers, or recording gear. Thanks!
