A compact piano with the sound and features to satisfy the needs of advanced players

Yamaha’s P-Series digital pianos are beloved by pianists worldwide who seek the comfortable feel of an acoustic piano in a more manageable size and weight.

Compared to its predecessor, the P-225 features a significantly shorter and slimmer body with a compact design. This model looks stunning from any angle and complements any room. To achieve a smaller product chassis, we developed the new GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) 88-key keyboard, which is built to uncompromising standards and delivers the same weighted acoustic piano playing feel as the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keys used in previous P-Series models.

The P-225 features the sounds of Yamaha’s first concert grand piano, the CFX, and utilizes Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology to reproduce the expressive tonal changes that occur in a real grand piano at every moment.

Whether you are an advanced pianist or a serious beginner eager to learn to play, the P-225 is the perfect choice.
