Gibson Custom Shop J-45 Vintage VOS - 2019

Up for sale is my beloved 2019 Gibson Custom Shop J-45 Vintage VOS in Vintage Sunburst.

This has been my absolute #1 acoustic guitar since the day I bought it new in 2019. It’s a truly remarkable instrument — I’ve compared it side-by-side with many Standard J-45s, and the Custom Shop versions (Vintage, True Vintage, or 1942 Banner) are on another level in tone, feel, and playability.

As my daily driver for the past seven years, this guitar is beautifully broken in. It sounds warm, open, and dynamic with excellent projection. Everyone who has picked it up has commented on how great it feels and sounds — one of the best J-45s they’ve ever played.

It shows some light honest wear from regular playing, but it’s always been handled with care. It was mainly used in the studio — never gigged — and has been well-maintained and kept in a humidified environment.

Current new 1942 Banner J-45s list at $4999, so this is a great chance to get Custom Shop quality at a lower price.

Includes the original Gibson hardshell case.

I’d love to see it go to someone who will love it as much as I have. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Thanks for looking!

P.S. Attached a video from youtube of Carl Miner at Carter's Vintage Guitars playing the same model, so you can hear an example of this stellar guitar. (scroll to the end of the photos to see the video).
