The PRS Custom 24-08 Mango Top Limited Edition in Purple Mist is a striking take on a modern classic, pairing PRS’s refined design with a unique tonewood combination that stands out both visually and sonically. The mango top adds a distinctive look beneath the gloss nitro finish, with organic figuring that plays beautifully against the rich Purple Mist color, while the mahogany body underneath keeps the tone grounded with warmth and depth. It’s a guitar that immediately feels premium, with a presence that’s equal parts elegant and bold.

The Pattern Thin mahogany neck offers a fast, comfortable feel that encourages fluid movement across all 24 frets, while the ziricote fingerboard adds a smooth, articulate response with a touch of snap. PRS’s attention to detail shines through in the violin carve, the outlined old school bird inlays, and the overall balance of the instrument, making it feel as refined in hand as it looks. The Gen III tremolo system and locking Phase III tuners keep everything stable and expressive, ready for subtle movement or more aggressive playing styles.

At the heart of the 24-08 platform is its expanded tonal flexibility, and this model delivers in a big way. The TCI pickups provide clarity, punch, and dynamic response, while the dual mini-toggle switches unlock a range of voices that go far beyond standard humbucking tones. From full, powerful sounds to more focused, single-coil-style textures, it adapts quickly to different styles without losing its core character.

Finished with smoked black hardware and built to PRS’s exacting standards, this limited edition Custom 24-08 is as versatile as it is visually compelling. It’s a professional-grade instrument designed to handle anything from studio precision to live performance, offering a unique twist on a proven platform for players who want something a little different without sacrificing performance.
