Subway Guitars in Berkeley CA has recently come into the possession of a quite beautiful Fender American Showcase Stratocaster.
This guitar was built in 2020 and was a FSR (Factory Special Run) available exclusively through the Guitar Center chain.
It's fairly unique among Stratocasters because it comes with a quilt maple top over an alder body.
The Aqua Marine Metallic finish is simply stunning.
This guitar has been well cared for and is in near Mint Condition. The only flaw is some very light scratching on the pick guard. The body and neck have no dings or dents or signs of wear. The frets are completely fresh. The plastic on the back plate is still on
The set-up is excellent as you should expect from a recent high end Fender.
The neck is a compound of C to D shape. It has a 12-in radius and 22 medium jumbo frets
The electronics are an HSS configuration with American Showcase pickups. It also has a treble bleed circuit and a push-pull coil tap.
A two-point synchronized tremolo with pop in arm, and Fender locking tuners are among the deluxe hardware featured on this guitar.
