Sourced directly from a Fender dealer and never privately owned, this Fender Custom Shop B2 ‘52 Telecaster Journeyman Relic offers a bevy of vintage-centric features including a ‘54-style Soft “V” neck profile, hand-wound ‘51 Blackguard pickups, and a gloss Aged Nocaster Blonde Flash Coat nitro lacquer finish with Fender’s Journeyman Relic treatment.
The B2 models are a Custom Shop subset for high-end, limited-production instruments featuring upgraded, premium specifications special ordered by major retailers.
Weighing 7lbs 7oz, this Telecaster features a two-piece ash body and a rift-sawn maple neck with a 7.25”-9.5" compound radius fingerboard and 6105 Narrow Tall fretwire. This Custom Shop B2 1952 Telecaster Journeyman has been dialed in here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar beyond the factory setup with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
