Overview: This recent, Duolian-like, 12-fret National has a steel body and a killer, full sound. It's been played a bit and shows a bit of wear and tear but arrived here in pretty good order. I just needed to do "the usual" to have it back in good health. It has a nice look with its play-worn edges and olive-drab, faded sort-of look.

I currently have it setup as a fingerpicker/flatpicker rather than a slide machine, but can adjust setup to taste as-desired.

Repairs included: I leveled and dressed the frets, added an extra shim/"mushroom" near the neck joint behind the internal dowel (this makes the joint a lot more rigid), tidied-up the cone seating, and compensated the saddle fully and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: While it's overall in good shape, the finish does show light scratching and discoloration from use here and there. I did not spy any dings or dents. The back had a rectangular sticker in the center of it that I removed, though its "ghost" is still there even after cleaning. The coverplate and "armrest" area have finish wear that makes the body look brass but you can see the steel of the body at the rubbed edges.
