Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. - Cadillac Green-NEW

In brief: Semi-hollowbody Electric Guitar with Laminated Maple Body, Maple Neck, Laurel Fingerboard, 2 Humbucking Pickups, and Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece - Cadillac Green

The Gretsch Electromatic G5655TG Center Block Jr. electric guitar delivers a broad range of tone to fit a wide selection of musical styles. The G5655TG's Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups provide all the bark and bite you need for blues, jazz, rockabilly, indie rock, and other styles. A chambered spruce center block provides you with tons of sustain, and a Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece lets you bend notes smoothly and evenly. Enhance your guitar collection with the Gretsch Electromatic G5655TG Center Block Jr. semi-hollowbody!

Thanks to its pair of Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers, the Gretsch G5655TG semi-hollowbody guitar serves up a uniquely dynamic and extended tonal range. The Black Top Broad'Tron pickup at the bridge delivers the solid punch and twang that have made Electromatic models such a hit among rockabilly and blues guitarists. In the neck position, the Broad'Tron delivers sparkling highs bolstered with plenty of low-end punch and clarity. Together, these pickups make the G5655TG ideal for anything from gutsy rock to glossy jazz tones.

You get a lot of tonal bang for your buck with the Gretsch G5655TG, thanks to its long spruce center block. Running the full length of the body, the center block allows the otherwise hollow body to resist resonant-frequency feedback. That means you can rock out louder with more gain, without your amplifier squealing out of control. Spruce is a snappy tonewood, and since the center block connects with the bridge, the note definition and clarity on the G5655TG are amazing.

Nothing beats the character and vintage vibe that a real Bigsby tailpiece adds to the G5655TG. It's particularly easy to pull off slow, subtle, and extended bends with the G5655TG, thanks to its Bigsby Licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece. Guitarists rank the Bigsby as one of the most iconic vibrato sounds in history. One of the original vibrato units on the market, Bigsby has earned a fanatical fan base for its smooth action and solid intonation. When you want that Bigsby sound, don't settle for second best: you need a Bigsby.
