When it came to the DB10, Maxon decided to use two independent boost circuits with separate input/output jacks and true bypass switches, offering a clean and vintage boost to enhance your sound. The pedal provides up to +20dB of boost, with the clean boost offering a flat frequency response while the vintage boost provides a high-end toll-off. Both boosts can cascade into one another, or an overdrive/distortion pedal can be put in between them to deliver additional tonal options.
