- Excellent functional condition - Full frequency response
- Nice cosmetic shape
- Comes with original Beag microphone clip as well
For sale is a Hungarian microphone produced by the company Beag that shares some sonic similarities to the AKG D224 in my mind. This is likely due to the holes the 210 employs, which likely reduces the proximity effect similarly to the old Shure SM54/SM53 before they were outlawed. This microphones gives a great character and can be used up close or a bit further away on a variety of sources with great results. I can see why there are people calling this mic the Hungarian SM57, might just be the idea of it being able to be used on a lot of different use cases. Although I think this microphone has a bit more elegance to it and cleanliness to its sound and presentation you cannot find on a 57!
