A factory job, a professional grade instrument, featuring a late 60s Gibson Style 250 plectrum banjo neck which was matched with a new 3-4" thick maple rim/gold-labeled by Gibson (Nashville, 2012). The mahogany neck is fully bound with ebony fingerboard, fiddle peghead shape, with Style 41/Varied inlay pattern; past peghead repair behind volute. Gibson equipped this neck with a new, 3/4" wide maple rim assembly, with nickel plated hardware incld. no-hole archtop tonering/tube/plate flange/tension hoop, more recent stamped armrest and tailpiece; fully bound mahogany resonator is from 60s, and has been restored with new paint inside. Recent Gibson off-set tab tuners installed; finish checking present throughout, with scratching and light cosmetic wear. A custom job from Gibson, a gold oval label is present, with date of build/custom designation. Includes 60s Gibson hard case.
