- Original capsule was no longer functional so it was replaced with a Beta 58A style capsule
- One of the early versions of the SM58 with a slightly textured paint finish
- Grille cleaned with new foam placed inside
For sale is a vintage SM58 that looks excellent cosmetically but it needed a new replacement capsule to get it working properly once again! Now it sounds the part with a capsule that closely resembles one you'd find in a Beta 58A and it offers a hot output with a balanced response. Compared to a vintage 58, it offers a bit less bass response which may be a plus especially if close miking.
Thanks for looking!
