I’m putting up for sale a guitar I never thought I’d sell.
The reason is that I’ve finally found two Mosrites in the same color, and as a true Mosrite collector, I hope to find someone who will enjoy this collector’s guitar.
It’s a Mosrite made in the USA, manufactured in 1984 in North Carolina by Semie Moseley.
The guitar was kept unused by another collector and is in MINT condition. I bought it a couple of years ago, and since then it has barely been played, so you’ll find a guitar in excellent condition (almost like new) for its 42 years.
On the back of the headstock, it is signed in pen by Semie Moseley, and as a fun fact, the cap of the screws that attach the neck to the body is also engraved with Semie Moseley’s signature.
Of course, its serial number is included in the Mosrite USA serial number catalog currently being compiled.
It’s all original; the tuning machines and some metal parts have lost their shine after so many years, but I think this gives it an authentic character.
It works perfectly; the frets are in excellent condition, and the vibrato works smoothly and precisely.
The finish is original, a beautiful ink blue that shifts slightly to a gorgeous green-blue.. It’s my favorite color, of course.
It comes with the black Gator case, which, although not original, is essential for preserving this precious and unique instrument.
The Mosrites from the 1980s have some features that differ from the 1960s models; the neck is slightly thicker, which may be more comfortable for players who are more accustomed to a Gibson-style neck (for example).
The headstock is slightly less curved, and the weight is also a bit higher; it’s not a heavy guitar, but compared to the Mosrite 65, for example, it’s slightly heavier.
There are great guitarists who consider this to be the best era for Mosrite USA quality, so keep that in mind.
I’ve listed the guitar for sale on various platforms, so if it sells on other forums first, I’ll try to remove it from here as soon as possible.

Since I'm extremely careful with my instruments, I prefer to deliver them in person, so if you live in Europe, I can travel to France to deliver the guitar to you at no additional cost. We'll meet, you'll see it in person, and if you like it, you can buy it.
I have more listings for this guitar; if it sells before then, I'll remove this listing.
