The Meinl Byzance 21" Polyphonic Ride is an exceptionally versatile instrument designed to give drummers a single cymbal with multiple distinct sonic zones. Combining a large, raw bell with a traditionally finished bow and a thin edge, this Meinl Byzance 21" Polyphonic Ride delivers a balanced frequency mix with precise stick control and a warm, wooly wash. Its unique design allows it to rapidly respond when crashed and fully open up during wash riding, making it a professional choice for a wide range of musical styles. The stunning Bronze finish and hand-hammered B20 alloy showcase a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation that stands out on any stage.

• Multiple Sonic Zones: Designed with an oversized raw bell for clear, dry projection and a lathed body for sweet stick response.
• B20 Bronze Alloy: Hand-hammered in Turkey to produce complex, musical tones and enhanced tonal clarity.
• High-Performance Versatility: Functions as three cymbals in one with the ability to provide articulate ping sounds, shimmering bell tones, and powerful crashes.
• Medium-Thin Weight: Offers a buttery-soft feel and ensures the cymbal opens up easily for dark, shimmering crashability.
• Narrow Blade Lathing: Features a traditionally lathed edge and bow that contributes to a smooth, warm character and mid-bright timbre.
• Strategic Hammering: Handcrafted patterns help control overtones and provide a unique, individualized sound for every player.
• Wide Style Range: Ideally suited for Rock, Pop, Fusion, Jazz, Funk, R&B, Reggae, and Studio applications.

Handcrafted in Turkey using traditional cymbal-smithing techniques and finished with German high-tech precision, the Meinl Byzance 21" Polyphonic Ride redefines what a versatile ride cymbal can achieve. By blurring the line between a ride and a crash, this instrument provides drummers with an articulate dry sticking response while remaining fully crashable for big choruses. The Meinl Byzance 21" Polyphonic Ride exemplifies the innovation and artisan craftsmanship that sets Meinl Byzance apart, offering a rich sonic palette for any professional musical setting.
