On sale this barely working device . I only managed to connect it to my monophonic Behringer TD-3 Analog Bass Synthesizer . Only the first string worked and few buttons . When I tried to connect it to my polyphonic and digital Roland System-1 - no reaction of the synthesizer . So I believe there may be some issues with this device , because from what I see - some people are connecting it straight to MIDI-In (standard 5-pin slot) and it is supposed to control every (or almost every) synthesizer . Most Midi guitar controllers can't be connected like that and need a converter that will connect a guitar to laptop or tablet , but never to an actual synthesizer hardware . So this is one of a kind solution and sadly no longer in production .
On Youtube you can find some people who are doing a teardown of this device , so you can check if it is an easy operation for you or not : youtube.com/watch?v=lfOmlhnwTug
An interesting instrument (or rather a device) also for collectors as this is the last time when Fender has partnered with a company to create something for console players... and probably most of these toys are destroyed and in a trash - so soon they will be quite valuable as it happens with everything .
Nothing more included . Easy to pack and to transport .
