Here's a nice solid Electro-Voice metal microphone box. It's in excellent condition, the hinge and clasp function well, no signs of rust. It has a textured gold finish. Its inside dimensions are approximately 8.5” x 3.75” x 2". The original foam lining had deteriorated, so it has been cleaned and new closed-cell foam installed. (This will last much longer than the foam rubber originally used.) Of course you can customize it for your own mic.

As is, it will fit many EV mics, and even snugly fit an AKG C414EB without adjustment to the internal foam. Of course, it will work well for many other valuable microphones, including multiple small-capsule mics like the Neumann KM84, KM184, KM140, etc.
