Conn 10D professional double horn in F/Bb with Geyer wrap, screw bell, and lacquer removed to reveal a stunning natural brass patina. Other aftermarket upgrades include a hand guard and water keys.
This is functionally the same configuration Conn now sells as the 10DYSUL — unlacquered with screw bell — at nearly $7,000 new.
The raw brass has developed a beautiful warm patina with copper and rose undertones that gives this horn serious visual character. Rotary valves are smooth and quiet with good compression. Nickel silver valve cluster, engraved valve caps, tapered rotors and bearings.
All slides move freely and instrument is in great condition after being professionally tuned up in May 2026.
The screw bell packs down into a compact gig-style case (included) — no wrestling with a giant coffin case. Also included is a wooden straight mute. Mouthpiece also included if you’d like.
