It was manufactured on October 12, 2002, at Gibson’s Nashville facility. It features a stunning (and rare) translucent Red/Wine gloss finish over a beautiful flame maple top, and cream binding on both the body and neck. This Les Paul STANDARD was built with a solid (9lb-9.7oz) mahogany body, and the '50s rounded neck profile.

This Les Paul STANDARD guitar is powered by Burstbucker Pro pickups that are designed to replicate the original PAF humbuckers, with Alnico V magnets and a slightly hotter output than the standard Burstbuckers. They are wax-potted to reduce microphonics and are known for their clarity and vintage-inspired tone.

This guitar has been "SEEN & HEARD", but has also been meticulously cared for. There is a small ding on the lower part of the top (could not get it to show in the photos), and light surface scratches consistent with a well-looked-after instrument of this age. The WINE/RED finish is STUNNING!!
