This is an early SQ model featuring the small “Squier by Fender” logo, which is more desirable and indicative of the earlier production run. These guitars were built during Fender’s transition period and are widely respected for their quality, craftsmanship, and playability—often compared favorably to early Fender Japan models.
The guitar features classic ’70s Stratocaster specs, including:
3-bolt neck with micro-tilt adjustment
Vintage-style tuners
Rosewood fingerboard
