Up for sale is a dated 1977 Marshall JMP Superlead MK2 100 watt amp. The Demo Video I’m playing a Gibson SG with Dirty Fingers pickup directly to amp with no effects on a 1960a cab.

As iconic as these are, this is way above my needs. Its very loud. Cranking it up makes the sound better but not as satisfying for my neighbors unfortunately. Since acquiring the amp, I never really played it.

I would recommend having a tech do a once over to make sure its ready if your gigging as it may need components swapped for the long term. All tubes look to be period correct USA made 6550 power tubes with German 12ax7 pre-amp tubes. A mod has been done with the knob to the far left which increases the volume with the original volume to the far right gives more gain past 4 on the volume control. Left inputs seem like the lead side while inputs on the right are bass’ie side. Balanced out with a crossover cable as you can see you can blend Vol1 and Vol2 for best of both worlds.

Other than that, if you have a use for it I’m willing to let it go at asking price maybe a bit less if reasonable but no lowballing.

Ad will be marked as it is sold in as is no returns condition. For its age and my lack of expertise in this older amp; I’m just not going to invest in it to keep it or put money into it. Belongs to someone who will use it. I will ship it with tubes pulled and mark the position they were in.
