Description:
  Two P-90 Pickups plus treble bleed circuit. A Custom- Wide Profile Neck already installed.  A newly refinished body with 2 Noiseless SRV Hot P-90 Pickups + Recessed Heel Crest added with-all new hardware and 25-1/2" scale length Modified Custom Neck.                                             

Neck description:

• Thickness at 1st Fret: .810"
• Thickness at 12th Fret: .830"

The body wood is Swamp Ash with an Amber clear over the wood. Grain can be seen lightly through finish The string spread at the nut is approximately 1-7/8" and at the bridge it is 2-1/8". The scale length is a standard 25-1/2". Speed loader bridge.

Wide Guitar Necks 

Wide guitar necks are better for players with bigger hands or who want more Neck space in between each string to facilitate fretting notes more cleanly.  A wider nut offers more separation between the strings at the head stock end of the neck. The width of necks, and their shape as well, will suit certain players more than others. Often, it's a case of the size and shape you need, and also the kind of playing preferred.

If you have a size 13 foot, you need a size 13 shoe. Stop any roadblocks to your success as a guitar player. Get the right equipment for you.

This guitar was built and designed for bigger guys, who have bigger fingers. The wider 2" nut installed is much wider and meets the standards of larger players and finger pickers, who need and appreciate the “extra room” between the strings.

The benefits of the wider fret board include but are not limited to: better action, better pull-offs, no crowded fingers when chording, easier finger placement, clearer notes and more real estate on the top of the fret board for the guitarist to play. It is just a building technique to add comfort to playing a guitar that you cannot get from "off the rack" instruments in a music store.

There are real benefits to a custom extra wide neck and a good luthier who understands what techniques to apply to an instrument so it will be easier to play.

• Neck profile: The neck is straight and easy to wrap your hand around it to fret notes and form chords.
• Action: The height of the strings above the fret-board is very low. A smooth neck and well-placed frets
• String gauge: The gauge of the strings 10-42.
• Scale length: The length of the scale is 25-½”.
• Neck angle: The angle of the neck is perfect on all 4 axis.
• Weight: Light enough to be comfortable with great resonance and sustain.
• Body shape: The single cut-away has a comfortable body shape and a well-balanced weight.
• It feels "broken in" and comfortable right out of the box.
• The great tone will respond to the subtle nuances of your technique, allowing expression of musical ideas with clarity and precision.

The neck is similar to a Standard/Medium thin. A bit more meat than a standard thin neck.

Its medium "C" shape will feel comfortable to most players.

The repair is above the upper left side of the neck pickup. This guitar a little Gem!

Variable Treble Bleed Circuit included:

This mod keeps the tone you have on "10" throughout the entire range of the volume control.
We add a resistor capacitor network to the input and output of the volume control to
keep the highs from leaving your tone as the volume is decreased.  
By adding this circuit, we can help you avoid the "muddy-tone" syndrome.  
Now your tone is much more controllable and articulate!

When the Treble Bleed Circuit is included:

Turning the volume control applies varying amounts of a specially tuned high frequency filter to the selected pickups. Now each pickup has the ability to produce a stronger, fuller tone and 50% less noise. Provides auto-adjustment of tone at reduced volumes and improves audio taper between 3 and 10.

3 Way Switching Vintage Pickups with vintage style magnets! Two P-90 Pickups

The SRV pickups in this guitar contain ceramics and are high output pickups that
deliver all the aggression you need and can be used from blues to jazz to metal.
Non-metallic magnets such as the ceramic variety do not change the inductance of a pickup coil.
The tone of these  pickups is often described as “aggressive” with
moderate to high output which can overdrive an amplifier.
Ceramic magnets have lower force on the strings than alnico magnets.

Very strong magnets (typically the alnico magnets) exert a
strong pull on the strings of the instrument and can reduce sustain and pull strings "out of tune"
