This is a case that was commissioned for Folktek by the amazing case maker Ross Lamond. He had already retired from making cases so I believe this is the last one he built. It is black walnut and incredibly tough.
Please note: The wood did naturally split but it affects neither the structural integrity nor the sturdiness of the case. Furthermore, the split is not really visible unless you’re looking for it, (see photos), and is 1/16” wide at its widest.
Incredible hardware and comfor table, heavy duty handle. A thing of beauty.
One case, two halves (9u x 100hp wide each). Depth of 2.5”. Male height of any module above panel (knobs) = 1”. Setup for 4ms power.
The case dimensions are as follows:
(exterior) 19.5” x 13.5” x 8”
(Interior) 18 3/8” x 12 7/16” x 7”
Internal power could be added.
At the time it was purchased for $1450.
