FULL DESCRIPTION

The Made in Japan Limited International Color Stratocaster brings back one of Fender’s most distinctive short‑run series — the International Color models from 1981. This 2023 reissue in Morocco Red blends vintage ’70s styling with modern MIJ craftsmanship: basswood body, rosewood fingerboard, ’70s “U”‑shape neck, bullet truss rod, three‑bolt neck plate with Micro‑Tilt, and vintage‑style single‑coil pickups.

It’s lively, resonant, and unmistakably Fender — with the build quality MIJ instruments are known for.

This example is clean, well‑kept, and still has the factory plastic on the pickups, tremolo cover, and pickguard (the pickguard film doesn’t photograph well, but it’s present). A small cosmetic chip on the lower bout is pictured clearly. Otherwise, it’s in excellent shape and ready to play.

If you want a Strat that stands out visually while still delivering classic tone and feel, this is a fantastic MIJ limited‑run piece.
