For sale: Rare vintage Paiste Stambul 65 18" crash ride. ✔️

Specifications:

Series: Stambul 65 (predecessor of the legendary 2002 series). ✔️

Period: Pre-serial (produced before 1972, no serial number). ✔️

Alloy: B8 (CuSn8) — that signature "Swiss" sound with its characteristic sandy finish. ✔️

Weight: 1460 grams. Perfect balance: it opens up perfectly for a rich crash while maintaining stick articulation for a light ride (Medium-Thin / Crash-Ride). ✔️

Condition:

The cymbal is in good working order for its age. No cracks. There are no chips or cracks. The center hole shows no noticeable wear (keyhole).

Note: There is one small flea bite on the edge, but it doesn't affect the sound or durability, and it doesn't go away (see photo). The patina is original; the cymbal hasn't been cleaned with harsh chemicals to preserve the original tone. Drilled hols - previous owner and no cracks , perfect sound ( pictured) ✔️

Sound:

A very musical, soft, and "old" sound. Much warmer than modern series. Ideal for jazz, funk, blues, or soft rock. ✔️
