The S5470 was introduced by Ibanez in 2008 as part of the high-end Prestige series, manufactured at the renowned FujiGen factory in Japan. It was among the first S Series models to feature 24 frets.
The body is made of mahogany and topped with a flamed maple cap, which is beautifully highlighted by the high-gloss Viking Red finish. The bolt-on, five-piece neck made of maple and walnut is fitted with a fretboard crafted from Indian rosewood.
The S5470 is equipped with two Ibanez Hot Grinder humbuckers and a centrally positioned Short Tracer single-coil pickup. Additional features include a ZR2 double-locking tremolo with a removable ZPS3 stabilizer, a barless Top-Lok nut, and high-quality Gotoh tuners.
The guitar is in very good condition, showing only minor signs of play and three small dings in the clear coat.
The original Ibanez Prestige hardshell case is included.
